Relationship with Josh[edit | edit source]
KJ is among one of the people rescued from the cereal factory by Josh. The two form a close relationship, however Josh finds is hard to communicate with her as she at first does not appear to speak English. The two begin talking, with Josh attempting to translate things, but failing miserably. Eventually, she reveals that she does in fact, speak English, but pretends not to in order to learn things from others.
She and Josh grow closer and closer and eventually, when they visit the Gamers, the two have sex with one another. They do not talk about it much after this, as they find out that Sam is alive, distracting Josh from his relationship with KJ, much to her dismay. When Sam is rescued, the relationship between KJ and Josh deteriorates as he begins to ignore her. Furthermore, Sam views her with disdain when she finds out that the two had sex.
